Admiral Michael Mullen

Advisor

Admiral Michael Mullen is a Princeton University professor and a retired United States Navy admiral. He was appointed by both President George Bush and President Barack Obama to serve as the 17th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the highest-ranking officer in the United States Armed Forces.

Mullen also served as the Commander of the US Naval Forces Europe and of the Allied Joint Force Command Naples, and as the 32nd Vice Chief of Naval Operations. He was the third officer in the Navy’s history to be appointed to four separate four-star assignments. During his time in the military, he fought in both the Vietnam War and the Persian Gulf War, and received multiple military ribbons for distinguished service. He was also appointed an Honorary Officer of the Order of Australia and awarded a German Federal Cross of Merit. After more than 43 years of service, he retired from the Navy in 2011. In 2013, he joined both the Board of Directors of Sprint Nextel Corp and the board of General Motors.

Akbar Merchant

Vice President Business Analytics

Akbar has served as VP of Business Analytics for Afiniti since 2011. His responsibilities include working with clients to develop procedures to measure the performance improvement delivered by Afiniti and associated reporting needs. He engages with clients early in the sales process to ensure alignment between the desired Afiniti objective metric and the available call-level data.

Prior to joining Afiniti, Akbar held senior level positions in the telecom industry. His many roles during 12 years at Americatel (formerly Startec Global Communications) included billing systems, business intelligence, P L management, consumer marketing, product development, and M&A transactions.

Akbar holds a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Alexandre de Juniac

Advisor

Alexandre de Juniac became the seventh person to lead the International Air Transport Association (IATA) when he took on the role of Director General and CEO from 1 September 2016. He has almost three decades of experience in both the private and public sectors. This includes senior positions in the airline and aerospace industries and the French government.

Alexandre de Juniac served as Chairman and CEO of Air France-KLM (2013-2016) and prior to that as Chairman and CEO of Air France (2011-2013). Under de Juniac’s leadership, Air France and Air France-KLM underwent a successful restructuring that improved efficiency and strengthened performance. He has also served on the IATA Board of Governors (2013-2016). 

Alexandre de Juniac has broad aviation sector experience, including 14 years at French aerospace, space, defense, security, and transportation company Thales, and its predecessor companies Thompson-CSF and Thompson SA (1995-2009). In his last position at Thales, de Juniac was responsible for the company’s operations and sales in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. 

Alexandre de Juniac has also held positions in the French government. His career began with the Conseil d’Etat (State Council) from 1988 to 1993. Subsequently, he served in the Department of Budget (1993-1995); and in the Ministry of Economy, Industry, and Employment as Chief of Staff to then Minister Christine Lagarde (2009-2011).

A French citizen, Alexandre de Juniac was born in 1962. He is a graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique de Paris and Ecole Nationale de l’Administration.

Alonso Aznar

GM Spain and Mexico

Alonso Aznar is the GM Spain and Mexico for Afiniti. In this role Alonso is responsible for driving growth, managing clients relationships and leading Afiniti teams, operations and strategy in these regions. 

Prior to joining Afiniti, Alonso was a senior associate at Rhône Capital, a leading global private equity firm investing in businesses with pan-European and trans-Atlantic presence, with $6+ billion of equity invested, based in London and New York.  Alonso was previously with the investment banking division of Citigroup in London. 

Alonso holds a Bachelor degree in business administration with a specialty in finance from CUNEF University in Madrid.

Benedict Faber

General Manager, Germany

Benedict is Afiniti’s General Manager of Germany. In this role, Benedict is responsible for the German market, including sales in the region, supervising Afiniti’s deployments, handling interactions with clients and managing Afiniti’s team, operations and strategy in the country. 

Prior to joining Afiniti, Benedict was a Business Development Manager at Rocket Internet focusing on FinTech opportunities. Benedict was also previously at KPMG in the advisory/ audit division. Earlier in his career he was a Private Equity analyst in Hong Kong.

Benedict holds a BS/BA from Saint Louis University and an MBA from IE Business School.

Bob Sternfels

Board Member

Bob Sternfels is a senior McKinsey partner based in San Francisco. He currently leads a firm-wide effort to transform how McKinsey delivers value to its clients which includes widening McKinsey’s professional profiles, growing in new functional areas, and building out tools and assets to better enable client service. In effect, Bob leads McKinsey’s “new ventures” group.

In terms of client service, Bob has worked with clients all over the world (North America, Europe, Africa, Asia) covering aerospace and defense, private equity, basic materials, medical devices, high tech, financial institutions, and consumer goods sectors. His experience ranges from strategy to operations to organization. Bob has been with McKinsey for over 20 years.

Bob graduated with Honors from Stanford University and has a BA in economics and history. He was a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University and has an MA in politics, philosophy, and economics.

Cecilia Braggiotti

GM Italy

Cecilia Braggiotti is GM Italy. In this role, Cecilia is responsible for driving growth, managing clients relationships and leading Afiniti teams, operations and strategy in Europe.

Cecilia spent most of her career at McKinsey, a leading strategy consulting firm. She subsequently developed experience in equity investments, having worked both in Private Equity (L Capital, LVMH fund) and Hedge Fund (Attestor capital). Prior to joining Afiniti, Cecilia was product manager for worldwide handbags at Christian Dior.

Cecilia holds a masters degree from London Business School, an MBA from INSEAD and attended an executive program at Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Chris Farmer

Chief Marketing Officer

Chris Farmer is an Executive Vice President and our Chief Marketing Officer. He is responsible for our marketing, press engagement and strategy, but also has an active role in fundraising activities and general awareness of our business.  He also supports some clients, mostly in the Middle East.

Prior to joining Afiniti, Chris was Head of Communications for Bain & Company, a global management consultancy business, where he was previously a consultant working primarily across financial services and the private equity space. Before joining Bain, Chris was a speechwriter in the House of Commons, and has written for a wide range of business leaders across the world.

Chris holds a BA and MA from the University of Oxford where he read Philosophy, Politics and Economics and was President of the Oxford Union.

Dave DeLellis

Executive Vice President

Dave is Managing Director of Business Development at Afiniti. He is responsible for developing new client relationships and BPO partnerships. Prior to joining Afiniti, Dave was Managing Director at Intrepid Capital Partners. Dave was also a Global Executive for 20 years at JPMorgan Chase and General Electric.

Dave has served as Vice Chairman of the American Teleservices Association and is currently on board of Pearl S Buck International Foundation. He received a B.S. in Economics & Marketing along with an MBA from Drexel University and studied at the London School of Economics and George Washington University. Dave’s interests include music, film and sports.

David Kroner

Managing Director

David Kroner is Managing Director of Financial Services for Afiniti. David is a consumer marketing executive and P&L leader with extensive experience in financial services, loyalty and e-commerce. Prior to joining Afiniti, David created and commercialized multiple innovative products and business lines in 16 years of leadership roles at American Express. David most recently served AmEx as SVP & General Manager of the flagship U.S. consumer proprietary card products, which include the Centurion, Platinum, Gold and Green Cards. He also served as General Manager of the Card Services & Insurance business.

David holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS in Economics and Finance from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. David lives in the New York metro area with his wife and four sons, where he enjoys fitness and red wine.

Elisabeth Murdoch

Advisor

Elisabeth is the Founder and Chair of Freelands Group, comprising Freelands Ventures, a media and technology investment fund and Freelands Foundation, which supports visual arts and cultural programmes. Elisabeth was the founder and former Chair of Shine Group, which grew to become one of the leading content production companies internationally over her fourteen year tenure. Prior to founding Shine, Elisabeth was the Managing Director of Sky Networks, the programming and marketing division of BSKYB plc.

Elisabeth began her career in television at the Nine Network in Australia, later joining Fox Television in Los Angeles as Programme and Promotion Manager for seven stations and then went to the FX Cable Network as Director of Acquisitions. In 1995, Elisabeth started her own company, EP Communications, managing two dominant NBC affiliate stations which won one national and five Californian Emmy Awards as well as the 1995 Peabody Award for Broadcast Excellence.

Elisabeth was appointed a Tate Trustee in 2008, and has been Chairman of the Tate Modern Advisory Council since 2009.

Fabio Corsico

Advisor

Fabio is the head of Corporate Affairs and Business Development for the Italian-based Caltagirone Group, and formerly served as Italy’s Chief of Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Finances. In 2001, he was a member of the committee for the adoption of the Euro. He has been featured by Il Foglio magazine as one of Italy’s top influencers under the age of 40.

Fabio has held senior-level investment and external affairs roles at Infostrada and Fondazione CRT. He has been extremely active in Italian politics and defense, working for the Italian Ministry of Defense, Department of Diplomatic Counseling, and Military Center for Strategic Studies. He has authored multiple books on Italian politics and economics. From 1998 to 2001, he represented the Italian Association for Information Technology and Italian Association for Industrial Policies.

In addition to Afiniti’s board of directors, Fabio serves on the board of Fondazione CRT, Cementir Holding, Banca della Svizzera Italiana, Terna Spa, and the Teatro Regio of Turin. He is also a senior advisor of Credit Suisse.

Federico Ghizzoni

Advisor

Federico is the former CEO of Unicredit, one of Europe’s leading commercial banks, with offices in more than 50 countries.

Federico worked at Unicredit for over 30 years, rising from a customer relations manager to CEO. During his time there, he held senior roles throughout Europe and Southeast Asia, including heading up offices in London, Singapore, and Warsaw.

Federico has held leaderships positions at other companies of Unicredit Group including General Manager at Yapi Kredi Bankasi in Turkey, and Deputy CEO at Bank Austria.  He served as well as Chairman of the Board of Hypovereisnbank AG in Germany.

Currently, he is the Chairman of the Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala, a member of the board of Bocconi University in Milan, of Clessidra Spa and Alitalia spa. He is also a member of the International Advisory Board of Unicredit.

Federico is a graduate of the University of Parma law school.

Fred Singer

Advisor

Fred Singer is an Internet pioneer whose career and philanthropic activities have spanned education, media, arts, science and veteran affairs.   Fred is currently most active in the emerging EdTech space as CEO of Echo360, a leading educational software company reaching over 3 million students in 30 countries and transforming approaches to teaching in higher education through big data and the application of technology in the classroom.  

Before Echo360, Fred was a Senior Advisor to Masayoshi Son, President and CEO of SoftBank and Chairman of Sprint’s Board of Directors.  Fred was also active as a venture partner at SoftBank Capital in the US.   Fred held a number of senior roles at AOL including Chief Operating Officer of AOL Studios/Interactive Services, Chief Operating Officer for ICQ (instant messaging) and Senior Vice President of Emerging Products. Prior to AOL, Fred was a founder of the Washington Post Online Service (now WashingtonPost.com) and a Consultant with Bain & Company.

Fred has served on a number of business, charitable and educational boards including Intact Financial Corporation, DoubleClick, Motley Fool Company, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts (International Committee), Queens University School of Business, the Langley School and Upper Canada College. He was named one of Washingtonian Magazine’s 2013 “Tech Titans”. Fred earned the “Venture Deal of the Year” award by the National Capital Chapter of the Association of Corporate Growth.   He has also funded research at Stanford University on Autism Spectrum Disorders and work on training wounded warriors in cybersecurity.

Fred holds an MBA from Harvard University as well as an LLB, an MA in Philosophy, a BA with Distinction in Philosophy, and a BA with Honors in Commerce from Queen’s University in Canada.

Hadi El Solh

GM Middle East and Africa

Hadi El Solh is the GM Middle East and Africa. In this role Hadi is responsible for driving growth, and leading Afiniti teams, operations and strategy in the region.

Previously, Hadi was a senior consultant at McKinsey & Company, an investment banker at Goldman Sachs in London, and a senior executive at Credit Suisse in New York, before becoming Head of Investments at Depa United Group responsible for investing $450 million, primarily by executing strategic acquisitions and joint ventures throughout Asia and EMEA.

A graduate of Harvard University (MPA) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MBA), Mr. El-Solh is an active technology investor and advisor, member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and a supporter of Harvard and MIT’s regional alumni activities.

Hasnain Aslam

Board Member

Hasnain is a Founding Partner and the Chief Investment Officer at The Resource Group. Hasnain is responsible for leading all acquisitions, divestitures and corporate finance initiatives at TRG. He has spearheaded TRG’s growth through over 25 acquisitions & divestitures since its inception in 2002. He currently serves on the Boards of several TRG portfolio companies, including Afiniti.

Prior to TRG, Hasnain was the Director of Corporate Development at Align Technology (NASDAQ: ALGN) and an investment banker in the Telecommunications, Media & Technology group at JP Morgan in New York and San Francisco.

Hasnain has an A.B. with Honors in Economics from Harvard University. Hasnain is also involved in several community service initiatives including serving as the Chairman of the Board of the Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs of North America (OPEN) in Washington DC and on the Board of the DC Chapter of The Citizens Foundation USA. Hasnain’s diverse interests include racing performance automobiles, playing squash, and studying South Asian poetry. He also loves to explore new destinations with his family.

Hassan Afzal

EVP and Global Head of Service Delivery

Hassan is Afiniti’s EVP and Global Head of Service Delivery. He is responsible for worldwide Afiniti installations and professional services. Hassan also leads Afiniti’s integration strategy with telephony vendor partners and oversees the Afiniti product support and technical sales support functions.

Prior to joining the Afiniti team, Hassan held senior management positions with Deloitte Consulting, Commerce One and American Management Systems. At Deloitte Consulting, Hassan advised the CIOs of Fortune 50 companies on technology strategy, merger integration, and enterprise system implementations. As Senior Principal at American Management Systems (AMS), Hassan was responsible for the systems deployment function of AMS’s Healthcare product offering. As Senior Director at Commerce One, Hassan was responsible for professional services engagements in the Oil and Gas sector.

Hassan holds a master’s degree in information systems from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and economics from the University of Virginia.

Ittai Kan

Chief Scientist

Ittai is Afiniti’s Chief Scientist, and has responsibility for product development and for the underlying code powering Afiniti’s products.

Ittai received a B.S. in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Mathematics (chaos theory) from the University of Illinois at Urbana. A series of academic positions followed including him being a Member of the Institute of Advanced Study at Princeton and ending as a tenured Associate Professor of Mathematics at George Mason University where Ittai cofounded their Actuarial Program.

He then left academia for a series of positions in the financial services and consumer data and modeling industries, including Vice President of Product Design at Finetre Corporation, Director of Quantitative Analysis at Mortgage Harmony, and Senior Vice President of Research & Development at IXI Corporation.

Ivan Seidenberg

Board Member

Ivan is the former Chairman and CEO of Verizon Communications, one of the world’s largest telecommunications businesses. Previously, Ivan was Chairman and CEO of Verizon’s predecessor companies, NYNEX and Bell Atlantic.

Alongside his role at Afiniti, Ivan is currently on the Board of BlackRock Inc, and serves as a Senior Advisor to Perella Weinberg. Ivan is also a member of the President’s Export Council, which advises the President on how to promote U.S. exports, jobs and growth, together with the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, which provides counsel on communications issues related to national security. He is a trustee of the New York Academy of Sciences’ President’s Council and serves on the board of trustees of the New York-Presbyterian Hospital, The New York Hall of Science, and Pace University.

Ivan earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Lehman College, part of the City University of New York, and an MBA from Pace University.

Jérôme de Castries

General Manager, France

Jérôme de Castries is General Manager of France for Afiniti. In this role, Jérôme is responsible for bringing in new clients on the French market, supervising Afiniti’s technology deployment, driving growth, handling interactions with clients and managing Afiniti’s team, operations and strategy in the country.

Prior to joining Afiniti, Jérôme has worked at Google as a Business Associate in their Large Customer Team in Paris, with an industry focus on retail. Besides that he also worked for Morgan Stanley in investment banking, and spent some time as a Ranger in game reserves in Tanzania, notably in the Selous Game Reserve and in Masaïland where he assisted on safaris’ organization and new territories’ exploration.

Jérôme studied at HEC Paris and also holds a License in History from Sorbonne University.

Jerry Adriano

Executive Vice President

Jerry is an Executive Vice President of Afiniti with responsibility for Sales and Business Development.

Prior to joining Afiniti, Jerry was an executive at Sprint where he transformed Sprint’s customer experience and achieved industry-leading customer experience metrics. Jerry has over 20 years experience in a variety of Finance, Sales, Marketing and Operational roles.

Jerry received his MBA from Columbia University and his BA from Yale University. Jerry resides in Leawood, Kansas with his wife and four children.

Joel Wyler

Advisor

Joel Wyler is the chairman of Granaria Holdings, a global investment company. He is an entrepreneur with a broad range of knowledge and experience in operating, manufacturing, trading, shipping and logistics companies internationally. He is a director of iBEX Global, Rainbow Medical Ltd, and Aegate Holdings, Ltd.  Joel is a partner of ACPI Investments, Ltd, member of the Advisory Board of Afiniti and a Board Member of Cocon Vastgoed B.V.  Joel was appointed Officer of the Order of Orange Nassau in 2000 and Chevalier de la Legion d’honneur in 2009.

John Bianchi

Executive Vice President

John is Executive Vice President of Strategic Product Development and Deployment for Afiniti.

Prior to joining Afiniti, John served Verizon Wireless as Vice President of National Customer Service for more than four years, with responsibility for the company’s customer service quality and strategy. Over the 11 years preceding that, John served Verizon in a variety of roles, including as Executive Director of Call Center technologies.

John began his career in telecommunications as a customer service representative for the former Pacific Bell telephone company. He has been engaged in a broad range of customer service functions in various management positions of increasing responsibility, including customer loyalty and quality assurance, call centers for ethnic markets, mergers and acquisitions, force management, and call center technologies.

He also served as director of national customer service with the former U.S. wireless company, AirTouch. He has served as vice chairman of the Half Moon Bay Beautification Committee, which benefits local community, senior and children non-profit organizations.

John earned degrees in Business Administration and Political Science from the University of Santa Clara, California.

John Birrer

Chief of Staff to the CEO

John joined Afiniti as Executive Vice President of Sales and Service in July 2013, and now serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO. Prior to joining Afiniti, Birrer led sales and service at Charter Communications as SVP of Customer Experience. In under two years, John led Charter to a 100% improvement in Net Promoter Score, reduced churn by more than 40 basis points, and drove improvements in Charter’s results in the Forrester Research Customer Index, all while dramatically increasing sales.

Before joining Charter, John was Senior Vice President of Customer Loyalty and Customer Service with T-Mobile USA. He was the senior member of the leadership team that guided T-Mobile to an unprecedented highest ranking in ten J.D Power & Associates Wireless Customer Care Performance Studies. John has more than 25 years of customer service experience, including seven years on IBM’s World Wide Call Center Operations team, and seven years with MCI Telecommunications.

John Snow

Board Member

John served as the 73rd US Treasury Secretary under President George W. Bush.

John is the Chairman of Cerberus Capital Management, and earlier in his career served as the Chief Executive Officer of CSX Corporation.

John has served on the Board of Directors of NationsBank, Bank of America, Textron, and Verizon. He is a Trustee of the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Virginia’s Darden School Foundation.

John received his PhD in Economics from the University of Virginia, and his JD from the George Washington University School of Law.

John Sununu - Board Advisor | afiniti

John Sununu

Board Member

John served as a U.S. Senator from New Hampshire from January 2003 to 2009. He was a member of the Committees on Banking, Commerce, Finance and Foreign Relations and he was appointed Congressional Representative to the United Nations General Assembly.

Prior to his election to the Senate, he represented New Hampshire’s First District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1997 to 2003 and was the Chief Financial Officer of Teletrol Systems, Inc. from 1993 to 1996.

In addition to advising the Afiniti board, John currently serves as Co-chair of Broadband for America, a 300-member coalition supporting broadband investment, deployment and access, and serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Time Warner Cable and Boston Scientific.

John holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a MBA from Harvard University.

José Maria Aznar

Board Member

José was the Prime Minister of Spain from 1996-2004, and currently serves as a Director of News Corporation.

Throughout his time as Prime Minister, José led a significant process of economic and social reform in Spain. A combination of competition policies, budget control, and public spending cuts are attributed with creating almost five million new jobs. Spanish GDP increased year after year during his tenure, with cumulative growth of 64% over his time in office.

He is a member of the European Advisory Panel of The European Business Awards and and the European Council on Tolerance and Reconciliation. José studied law at the Complutense University of Madrid, graduating in 1975.

Justin Murray

GM Hong Kong and Interim GM China

Justin is based in Hong Kong and oversees business development in the Asia Pacific region for Afiniti. He was born in Thailand, grew up in Hong Kong and then educated in the UK, studying an MA in Chinese at Edinburgh University.

Prior to joining Afiniti, Justin worked with the Swire Group for 18 years and held a number of senior management roles in the Aviation, Automobile and Real Estate divisions. He speaks fluent Mandarin and has worked in Korea, mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and The Netherlands.

Justin is an active cyclist and holds a current fixed wing private pilot’s license.

Larry Babbio - Board Member | afiniti

Larry Babbio

Board Member

Larry is a former vice chairman and president of Verizon, who had responsibility for the Verizon Telecom. He was also a member of the board of directors of Verizon Wireless. Since 2007, Babbio has been a senior advisor to Warburg Pincus, a private equity firm.

Prior to the Bell Atlantic/GTE merger, Larry was President and Chief Operating Officer for Bell Atlantic. He shared oversight of, and responsibility for, all of the corporation’s business operations, restructuring of the business units, the GTE merger process, and developing new growth opportunities.

Larry also served as chairman of the company’s Global Wireless Group, one of the largest wireless operations worldwide. He was the lead executive in charge of developing Bell Atlantic’s domestic and international wireless communications strategy. Under his leadership, Bell Atlantic substantially increased the size and scope of its domestic and international wireless holdings.

In May 2002 Larry was elected to the board of directors of Hewlett-Packard Company. He previously served on the board of Compaq Computer Corporation since 1995. He has served on the board of ARAMARK Corporation since 1999. Larry also serves as chairman of the Board of Trustees of Stevens Institute of Technology.

He holds a B.E. in electrical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from New York University.

Laura Tyson

Advisor

Laura is a professor of economics at the University of California-Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. She served as Chair of the US President’s Council of Economic Advisers during the Clinton Administration, and as the Director of the National Economic Council.

In addition to teaching, Laura founded the Haas School’s Institute for Business and Social Impact, and is a member of the Board of Trustees at UC Berkeley’s Blum Center for Developing Economies. She previously served as a Dean of the Haas School and as the first female Dean of the London Business School and has written extensively about domestic and international economic issues for a range of newspapers and magazines, including The Washington Post and The New York Times. She is currently an Economic Viewpoint columnist for BusinessWeek Magazine.

Laura has led and participated in multiple boards of leading financial and foreign policy organizations. She has been a board director of Morgan Stanley since 1997, a board director of AT&T Inc. since 1999, and a Board Director of CB Richard Ellis since 2010. She is also a member of the Committee on Capital Markets Regulation, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the QFINANCE Strategic Advisory Board. She provides expert financial advice as a member of the global strategic consulting Berkeley Research Group LLC.

Laura Tyson holds a B.A. in Economics from Smith College, where she graduated summa cum laude, and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Lord John Browne

Lord Browne is the Executive Chairman and President of L1 Energy and a cross bench member of the British House of Lords, having previously been the CEO of BP.

Managing Director, Corporate Affairs

Lucia Baresi is a Managing Director, Corporate Affairs. Lucia is a journalist, who started her career at the European Parliament and later became Head of European Public Affairs for Sky Italia, and subsequently for the Italian newspaper publisher, Gruppo Editoriale l’Espresso.

Lucia has a degree in International Law from the University of Parma, Italy.

Luiz de Toledo

Managing Director

Luiz de Toledo is the Managing Director for Afiniti’s Global Business Development. Luiz is a multi-lingual executive with extensive global experience in North America, Latin America, and Europe, and across many industries including software, financial services, and consumer products.

Prior to joining Afiniti in 2013, Luiz was CMO and EVP for Savana Inc., a global business process automation company. Luiz was also Senior Vice President for Technology & Operations at Fannie Mae, consultant with McKinsey & Company, and a financial analyst with Morgan Stanley in New York.

Luiz received his MBA from Stanford University and his BS from New York University where he majored in Economics, International Business, and French. Luiz lives in the Washington DC metro area with his two children, and enjoys playing squash.

Marjorie Goichberg is the GM Latin America. In this role Marjorie is responsible for driving growth, managing clients relationships and leading Afiniti teams, operations and strategy in Latam

Prior to joining Afiniti, Marjorie was a partner at McKinsey, the leading strategy consulting firm, and was responsible for developing McKinsey Solutions accross Latam

Marjorie received her MBA from The University of Chicago and her BA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas and ESPM. Marjorie resides in Sao Paulo with her husband and two children.

Mark Hawtin

Mark is an Investment Director at GAM. Prior to joining GAM, Mark was a partner and portfolio manager with Marshall Wace Asset Management, managing one of Europe’s largest technology, media and telecoms hedge funds. Mark previously spent seven years at Enskilda Securities, initially as head of sales, before taking responsibility for the international equity business, overseeing pan-European research and trading activities and around a quarter of the investment banking staff. He is based in London.

Michael is the former Chairman of Schroders plc. His career has been mainly with the Swire Group, which he joined in Hong Kong in 1958, becoming a director in 1971. He was Chairman of Cathay Pacific, SwirePacific and John Swire and Sons (HK) Ltd. in the 1980’s, and an Executive Director of John Swire & Sons Ltd. in the 1990’s. He was a director of HSBC 1984-1988.

He was Chairman of Johnson Matthey plc 1998 – 2006, and a Director of BP plc 1994 – 2006. He is a Committee Member of the Hong Kong Association.

Michel Portenier

Executive Vice President

Michel Portenier serves as Executive Vice President of Partnerships. He is responsible for all of Afiniti’s distribution and technology partnerships, including Afiniti’s strategic alliance with McKinsey & Company.

Prior to joining Afiniti, Michel spent seven years with McKinsey & Company in the US, Europe and the Middle East. He was a core member of the Telecom, Media and High-Tech (TMT) Practice, specializing in Marketing & Sales and Operations topics. Michel also worked with McKinsey Ventures and McKinsey Solutions where he worked on acquisitions and partnerships. Michel also co-founded a mobile application startup and worked at the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development.

Michel holds an MBA from Columbia University and a BA in Economics & Business from University College London.

Mijanou Dilks

Deputy General Counsel

Mijanou is the Deputy General Counsel for Afiniti. In this role, Mijanou is primarily focused on the commercial law and corporate contracts for the Company.

Prior to joining Afiniti in 2012, Mijanou trained and qualified at Hogan Lovells LLP in London, and completed a secondment to the legal team at Barclays Wealth. Mijanou received a BA and MA in English Language and Literature at Christ Church, Oxford University, before completing her legal studies in London.

Mike Lovett

Until February 2012, Lovett served as the CEO and President of Charter Communications. Previously he was Executive Vice President of Operations and Customer Care, and joined Charter in August 2003 as Senior Vice President of Operations.

Mike’s career in cable began in 1980 with Centel Communications where he held a number of positions in operations. He was with Jones Intercable Inc. from 1989 to 1999 rising to Senior Vice President with responsibility for operations in nine states; and AT&T Broadband as Regional Vice President of Operations from June 1999 to November 2000.

Minaz joined Host Hotels & Resorts, Inc. as Executive Vice President in August of 2003. Before coming to Host Hotels & Resorts, Minaz was President of Canadian Hotel Income Properties REIT (CHIP), a Canadian Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) located in Vancouver, British Columbia. Prior to his tenure with CHIP, Minaz worked for Starwood Hotel and Resorts in Canada as Area Managing Director.

Mohammed Khaishgi

Board Member

Mohammed is a Founding Partner and the Chief Operating Officer of The Resource Group, a position he has held since TRG’s inception in 2002. He is responsible for overseeing TRG’s day-to-day operations, including management and oversight of its portfolio of direct holdings. Mohammed serves on the Boards of several TRG companies, including Afiniti.

Prior to joining TRG, Mohammed was a Senior Director at Align Technology, where he managed Align’s offshore contact center and back office services operations. He was previously a Senior Investment Officer at the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation where he was responsible for the IFC’s portfolio of investments in the Asian telecommunications and technology sectors.

Mohammed received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology in Lahore, Pakistan, and an additional BA degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the University of Oxford where he was a Rhodes Scholar, and his MBA from Harvard Business School. Mohammed’s three children light up his life.

Prior to joining Afiniti, Orlando served as Senior Business Operations Manager at Chase where he was responsible for inbound and outbound sales performance for card service and for overseeing more than 2,000 employees in vendor operations in India, Philippines and South America. Orlando has also served as Vice President at Providian Financial where he managed telemarketing quality and training teams supporting outbound and inbound calling.

Phil Davis

Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Afiniti, Phil was a senior executive in the investment banking division at Goldman Sachs where he advised clients on corporate finance, risk management and mergers and acquisitions. Phil was also previously a consultant with McKinsey & Co. where he oversaw consulting teams in the TMT sector on strategy, operations and corporate finance related topics.

Earlier in his career, Phil worked as a research scientist at the MIT Media Laboratory and MIT Lincoln Laboratory developing artificial intelligence algorithms for a variety of different applications, including emotion/personality recognition. He holds a BS/BA from Brown University and an MS from MIT.

Richard Gephardt

Richard Gephardt

Richard is a lobbyist and former United States Representative from Missouri. He served as the Democratic House Majority Leader from 1989 to 1995 and Minority Leader from 1995 to 2003.

Richard served 14 terms in Congress, from 1977 to 2005, representing St. Louis’ 3rd district before choosing not to run for re-election. During his time in Congress, he provided financial and campaigning support for Democrats throughout the country, and was shortlisted as a Democratic vice presidential nominee in 2000.

After leaving Congress, Richard started Gephardt Group, a consulting and lobbying firm that he remains president and CEO of. He has lobbied on behalf of Boeing, several pharmaceutical companies, and the government of Turkey. He has also provided consulting services to Goldman Sachs, FTI Consulting, and DLA Piper. Richard currently serves on the board of directors for Centene Corporation, Ford Motor Company, Extend Health Insurance, Spirit Aerosystems Holdings Inc., and United States Steel Corporation.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He and his wife Jane Gephardt have three adult children.

Stefano Marsaglia

Alongside his role at Afiniti, Stefano is currently the Executive Chairman and Co-head of Global Corporate and Investment Banking at MedioBanco, the Milan based bank.

With a career spanning over thirty years, Stefano was previously the acting Chairman of Barclays’ Global Financial Institutions Group. In this role, Stefano created the Financial Institutions team in Europe and was responsible for the significant increase in FIG activities worldwide. He advised most of the largest mergers, acquisitions and disposals in the FIG sector that Barclays was mandated for across the EMEA region, Asia and the Americas.

Sundar is Managing Director of Media and Telecommunications for Afiniti. Sundar is responsible for new business and managing senior client relationships for Afiniti within the sector. Sundar has over fifteen years of leadership experience in the Telecommunications and Technology sectors.

Prior to joining Afiniti, Sundar was successful in transforming and commercializing several sales and service businesses in his 9-years of leadership roles at Vodafone. Sundar also served for seven years as a senior member of the Corporate Strategy team at Andersen Consulting Strategic Services and Accenture in London.

Sundar received his MBA from the London Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India. Thomas is the EVP and Global Head of Sales for Afiniti. In this role Thomas is responsible for driving growth and bringing the power of Afinti to the world’s largest organisations.

Thomas joined Afinti in 2013, and has served in various leadership roles from business development to managing the UK operations.

Prior to Afiniti, Thomas spent five years in investment banking with a primary focus on technology companies. Thomas holds a first class honours degree in Economics from the University of Bristol.

Tim McNamar

Tim is the founder and CEO of E-Certus, an information management company focused on the XBRL space. He served as Executive Director of the Federal Trade Commission, and later as Deputy Secretary of the Treasury under the first Reagan Administration where he managed the Chrysler Loan Guarantee, the LDC debt crisis, and the sale of Conrail.

Following his time in government, Tim was Vice Chairman of the Bank of New England, and helped sell the institution to Fleet Bank. He later served as an investment banker at Oppenheimer and as Vice Chairman of Amtec. Prior to joining Afiniti, Tim worked in Corporate Finance at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, one of Canada’s Big Five banks. In the position of Associate, Technology and Innovation, he was responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to better serve growth stage technology companies from a lending, cash management and investment banking perspective.

Tim holds a BA in Public Policy Studies from Duke University.

Vikash Khatri

Vice President, AI Production

Vikash serves as Vice President of Artificial Intelligence and has been part of the Afiniti team since June 2010. He is responsible for day to day monitoring of Afiniti’s performance and ensuring that call center needs, expectations and goals are being addressed and met. Vikash uses his knowledge of AI software, systems and procedures to monitor statistical model building, routing strategy validation, runtime option selection and ETL process integrity.

Vikash is a Fulbright scholar and holds a MS in Electrical Engineering from University of Southern California. His bachelors is from NUCES Pakistan. He likes to study about Computer Vision, had occasional flying lessons and loves travelling around the world.

Wyatt Roy

Wyatt Roy

GM Australia and New Zealand

Wyatt heads up the Afiniti Australia team and is responsible for Afiniti’s expansion into Australia. Prior to joining Afiniti, Wyatt served in the Australian House of Representatives and as Australia’s first Minister for Innovation. At age 20, he was the youngest person elected to the Australian Parliament; at 25, he was the youngest Minister in the history of the Commonwealth.

During his six years in the House of Representatives, Wyatt chaired the House and Senate’s Joint Standing Committees on Treaties. He oversaw three major free trade agreements with South Korea, Japan, and China. As Australia’s first Assistant Minister for Innovation, Wyatt led the National Innovation and Science Agenda, consisting of 24 policies designed to expand innovation and entrepreneurship in Australia.

Wyatt was raised on a strawberry farm on Queensland’s sunshine coast. He has been named GQ Magazine’s Politician of the Year and listed in Forbes Magazine’s “30 Under 30 in Asia.”. In his free time, Wyatt enjoys boating, sailing and fishing.

Zac Hudson

General Counsel

Zac is the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Afiniti.  Zac manages Afiniti’s legal department, which is responsible for corporate law and governance, litigation, risk management, compliance, commercial law and contracting, and intellectual property.

Prior to joining the Afiniti team, Zac practiced law at Bancroft PLLC, and served as a law clerk to Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr., in the Supreme Court of the United States and Judge Brett M. Kavanaugh of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.  Zac graduated from Yale Law School, where he served as the Managing Editor of The Yale Law Journal and was an Olin Fellow in Law and Economics.  He received his bachelor of science with honors from the United States Naval Academy, where he was selected as a Truman Scholar and Secretary of the Navy Distinguished Scholar, and his master of public policy from Georgetown University.

Before attending Yale, Zac served as an engineering officer on the USS Santa Fe, a nuclear-powered fast attack submarine. He oversaw the training and management of a department of more than 60 personnel in charge of the safe operation of the submarine’s nuclear reactor. He also served in tactical positions on the submarine where he completed duties integral to the success of several missions vital to national security and briefed at the presidential level. Mr. Hudson received numerous awards for his military service, including the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.

An Ohio native, Zac resides in Washington, D.C.
