It draws data from routing, automation, quality, and workforce tools, and turns it into shared intelligence: one consistent view of performance, and decisions fed back into live operations. Increasingly, this layer is powered by artificial intelligence (AI).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>What an Intelligence Layer Does<\/h2>\n<p>Each contact center system produces its own data and its own version of the truth. The routing platform reports handle times, the virtual agent reports containment, the quality tool reports scores, and the numbers rarely reconcile.<\/p>\n<p>An intelligence layer aggregates those signals into one model of what is happening, measures outcomes consistently across systems, and supplies the decisioning that individual tools act on.
